Here at DRF Real Estate, we want to use our business to help make the world a better place. We have made an enduring commitment to focus on the triple bottom line – including People, the Planet, as well as Profit.

We are committed to doing business in a sustainable, positive manner that is responsible, ethical, transparent, inclusive and supportive of our local environment, community, and economy.

Power

We turn off all lights and unplug our monitors each night.

Plastic

We have eliminated single-use plastics and replaced with reusable materials.

Company Fleet

We incentivize our team to drive hybrid vehicles.

Waste

We commit to reduce office waste by 10% annually. Shredded paper is donated to our local humane society for bedding.

Recycling

These days all paper and recyclable plastics are recycled.

Compost

We have installed compost bins and a team member makes weekly trips to the local compost collection point.

Community Support

We serve our community as Board Members of Boulder Symphony, Niwot Business Association, Women’s International Niwot Club, Guild Member of Community Food Share.

Giving

As proud members of the PLEDGE 1% community, we support local community-based charities like food shares and the arts.

We have proudly reimagined our events to become 100% zero waste.

Recycling at the DRF Team Office

We have 3 Zero Waste boxes set up at our office so you can recycle the following:

PLASTIC PACKAGING

plastic bottles, food storage and takeout containers, cereal bag liners, plastic wrap, shopping bags, bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts, straws, air packaging, pallet covers, shrink wrap

OFFICE SUPPLIES

tape dispensers, desk organizers, card and document filers, binders, calendars, labels, staplers, hole punchers, dividers, paper cutters, correction supplies, pens/ pencils/markers, fasteners, paper clips, staples, binder clips, sticker/label sheet backing

INK AND TONER CARTRIDGES

any brand and size of ink and toner cartridge from personal or commercial printers

Everything collected through the Zero Waste Box system is sorted and processed into raw materials that can be reused instead of being sent to landfill.
