Niwot Holiday Events

Enchanted Evening & Tree Lighting Ceremony

Friday, November 26th, 6-9pm  |  Downtown Niwot

Every year on the day after Thanksgiving, the community of Niwot officially ushers in the holiday season with Enchanted Evening. We will light the community tree, welcome Santa to town, sing holiday carols, and enjoy the evening with our local stores and vendors ready to kick off the gift-giving in spades.

Niwot Holiday Parade

Saturday, November 27th, 11am-1pm  |  Downtown Niwot

Santa returns to Niwot Saturday morning, Nov 27th, to join in on the Holiday Parade. The parade starts at 11:00 AM. Participants will march down 2nd Ave from Murray Street to Niwot Road. When the parade finishes Santa will be in the Grange until 1:00 PM to take the children’s Christmas gift wish list.

Saturday, December 4th & 11th, 10am-4pm |  Left Hand Grange and Around Town

Shop from over 30 holiday pop-up vendors located at businesses all over town! Festive food, drinks & family fun all throughout town. Tour the stores, restaurants and businesses around 2nd Ave and Cottonwood Square as each host a pop-up vendor. Sponsored by the NBA & LID.

Gingerbread House Decorating Competition

Sunday, December 12th  |  Downtown Niwot

Deb Fowler of DRF Real Estate LLC, Colorado Landmark is sponsoring and organizing a festive event for families. Gingerbread houses and frosting provided by Joan’s Petite Sweets. Gingerbread houses judges in 3 categories. Prizes will be $100 gift certificate to Farow, $75 to 1914 House and $50 gift certificate to Pinocchios.

Longmont Ice Pavilion

Opens November 19th  |  Roosevelt Park
The Longmont Ice Pavilion is a seasonal ice rink, offering public ice skating, hockey, skating lessons and party facilities throughout the winter, weather permitting. Come enjoy the ice, get some exercise, and have a great time in the facility.

 

Gift of Homes Tour

December 2nd -4th  |  Throughout Longmont

This self-guided tour will feature homes ranging from old to new, and small to large. Homes will be “dressed up” for the holidays by decorators and decor stores. The homes will feature items for sale and decorating ideas to get your creative juices flowing.

Holiday Happenings in Boulder

Lights of December Parade

Saturday, December 4th, 6pm  |  Downtown Boulder

Since 1988, parade with floats and marching units. The Lights of December Parade is a wonderful hometown event. The parade will wind around downtown Boulder and involve a wide cross section of the Boulder County Community with high school marching bands, hundreds of girl scouts, church floats, non- profit and civic organizations, and business entries.

Through December 24th  |  Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center

Kids of all ages can visit with Santa for FREE at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center. Whether you are asking for a fire engine for Tommy, a new doll for Molly, or a diamond ring for mommy, bring your list and a camera to capture priceless holiday memories.
